Betmaster.io is a bookmaker and online casino that has already been around for a few years. The brand was launched in 2014 and initially catered to customers from CIS countries as well as Kenya and Nigeria. Since then, Betmaster.io has grown to become quite the international brand, offering their betting and gambling products in many countries, and making the effort of localising their homepage to be more easily accessible and user-friendly.
So, if you are from India and wish to use Betmaster.io, you can change the language to Hindi instead of English and we rather hope this makes for a better betting experience for you.
Indeed, Betmaster.io is very accommodating of their international customers, accepting many different currencies and payment options.
It is therefore no surprise that most customers seem to like betting here or playing some of the thousands of games available at the casino. Of course, we have also taken a thorough look at this betting site.
Before we dive into the review proper, here are a few things we liked:

There are some things that need to be improved as well, though:
- Selection of sports to bet on is quite limited
- There is no dedicated banking section
- Bonus conditions are lacking important information
- There is no help of FAQ section
Safety and security
Any betting site that has been around for a few years is generally doing a decent job at holding onto their customers and acquiring new ones. That’s only possible when you establish a basis of trust with your customers, who would otherwise not just quit their accounts but also leave negative reviews online to warn others.
Whilst not all customers are happy with Betmaster.io, the number of complaints we found was small. The betting site is licensed through Curacao and runs on a secure platform, which generally leaves no concerns for safety issues here. Of course, we wouldn’t mind seeing other betting licenses as well, especially for a bookmaker that operates in so many countries, but since they seem to conduct their business faithfully, we can judge them on their own merit.
We couldn’t find any major issues regarding safety, security or trustworthiness with Betmaster.io and customers seem to mainly complain about the strict and lengthy KYC process, which is actually a security and compliance measure. Indeed, having such strict processes in place is reassuring even if one might find it tedious as a customer.
What we would recommend is getting your ID verified soon after signing up at Betmaster.io as it may take some time. You will find plenty of information around their KYC process on their homepage, which should make this easier.
Odds, products and games
Given that Betmaster.io is called what it is, one would suspect a strong focus on sports betting here. And whilst the landing page takes us to the sportsbook, it is surprising to see that only 10 sports were available to bet on. At the time of our review these were:
- Football, ice hockey, basketball, tennis, table tennis, handball, American Football, cricket, volleyball and MMA.
Strangely, eFootball also appeared in the sportsbook even though there is a separate section for virtual sports and eSports at Betmaster.io.
Be that as it may, this is one of the smallest sportsbooks we have seen. When you choose a sport you want to bet on, you’ll find in-play options, top upcoming matches, all leagues, all matches or even an option to filter according to country. This is common for most betting sites and the selection of betting options ranges from decent to excellent.
As a favourite Indian sport, cricket is well covered at Betmaster.io and the odds are solid here as well. Indeed, the odds were competitive across the board, though not outstanding.
Whilst the sportsbook is small, the eSports section is better than at many other betting sites, which certainly makes Betmaster.io a great site to check out if you are interested in eSports. It still quite a new addition to the site, but a welcome one.
The casino and live casino are a different story entirely. You could not accuse Betmaster.io of having a casino that is too small. Their library contains over 4,600 games from dozens of providers big and small, known and unknown. Another 400+ live table games are available at the live casino, which means there is hardly a game that you could be looking for and not find here.
As such, you won’t have trouble finding Andar Bahar or Teen Patti at the live casino. And not just in one version.
The only thing that is missing are big progressive jackpot games, including Mega Moolah, Mega Fortune, Hall of Gods or the WowPot! jackpots. Betmaster.io only seems to offer smaller local jackpot slots, which is the only downside of their otherwise excellent casino offering.
Welcome bonuses and many other promotions
If you are signing up as a new customers at Betmaster.io, you get to choose between a casino welcome bonus and a sports welcome bonus.
Let’s take a look at what that entails:
- Sports bonus: 100% match bonus of up to INR 15,000 (available for sports betting only) plus an INR 400 free bet every week for the first four weeks
- Casino bonus: 100% match bonus of up to INR 20,000 (available for casino games only) plus 10 free spins every week for four weeks
For a change, Betmaster.io also gives you the option of simply opting out of the bonus without any hassle by selecting ‘no bonus’.
Be aware that deposits made with Neteller, Skrill or Qiwi may not be eligible when claiming a bonus, though this is usually detailed in the bonus conditions.
Other important information seem to be missing from the bonus conditions, however. Whilst wagering requirements are mentioned, they are not specified. It is also unclear how long a bonus is valid before it expires.
When you decide to claim the casino bonus, you will be able to play it through on slot games, which contribute 100%. Whilst that is great, the bad news is that there are hundreds of slots that are excluded from contributing. There is a ridiculously massive paragraph in the bonus conditions, where all excluded games are given. It is completely unreadable and if you want to know whether a favourite slot of yours is excluded, you’re best served by using the “Ctrl F” function to search for it in your browser window.
If you are up for claiming a bonus under those conditions, you will be able to look forward to sports and casino bonuses alike, including free bets, reload and cashback bonuses as well as free spins and tournaments. There is plenty of that available, which is generally nice to see.
Betmaster.io does not currently offer a loyalty or VIP program.
Customer support
The good news is the customer service at Betmaster.io is available via chat and email 24/7. From what we have seen, the support team is engaging and tries to help as best they can, which is necessary since there is no dedicated help or FAQ section.
You are still able to find plenty of useful information on the Betmaster.io homepage, which covers a wide range of topics, even though there may still be details you will have to get from the support team. For instance, bonus conditions are available online but as mentioned above, some information is not included. That’s a little irritating and could easily be rectified.
Still, the customer service is solid here and since that is the case, you can always ask them for the stuff you can’t find on the homepage.
Banking at 10Cric
And speaking of things we can’t find on the homepage, this includes a separate page for payment options at this betting site in India.
Of course, we do know that plenty of useful payment options are available, including Visa and MasterCard, AstroPay, Skrill, Bitcoin as well as a few others, because they are represented by their logos at the bottom of the homepage. Whilst methods such as UPI, PhonePe, PayTM and others don’t show up there, research suggests that they are available once you visit the cashier.
Another thing to note are the maximum possible payouts that are mentioned in the terms and conditions. Apparently, for casino games, the maximum payout per day is €125,000, whilst it is €15,000 for sports bets.
On the other hand, the maximum monthly withdrawal limit is €50,000 (or the currency equivalent, of course.) That strikes us as somewhat strange, but most casual players won’t hit these limits and usually won’t have to worry about them.
Do be aware that withdrawal requests can take up to 5 days before they are approved. That is what Betmaster.io says, so be prepared. And keep in mind to get your ID verified before making your first withdrawal request. This can take some time but once you are verified, withdrawal requests hopefully won’t take too long.
Software, navigation and mobile play
The design of the Betmaster.io homepage is quite attractive. The site is modern, loads quickly, offers various ways to customise the settings, it is intuitive to navigate and not overly flashy or gimmicky. Indeed, the large window showing promotions or highlights can even be closed completely if you don’t want to see it. That’s something we have never seen another on another betting site in India or elsewhere.
Of course, when you refresh the screen or change to a different section, it will be there again, but you can always close it again and concentrate on the sportsbook or check out the games.
The same is the case when you access Betmaster.io via your mobile device in a mobile browser. The site is fully mobile compatible and quite nice to use. There are no glitches, and you get great functionality.
Additionally, you have the option of downloading a dedicated app for iOS or Android devices.
Verdict: Even with a small sportsbook, Betmaster.io offers an all-around good betting experience
Yes, the sportsbook is small. There is no way around that. If you like to bet on many different sports, including niche sports and perhaps kabaddi, Betmaster.io is not the betting site for you. But if what they have is all you need, they are definitely a good option to check out. You get a great little sportsbook where betting is made easy, a modern interface, an excellent online casino and an overall just pleasant betting site to use.
We have listed all the shortcomings above, some of which we hope to see addressed in the future. But none of them should really deter you from giving Betmaster.io a try.
