Overview
Rizk Casino has been around since 2016. They are one of the many online betting properties owned and operated by MT SecureTrade Ltd, who are very experienced in running online casinos and sportsbooks, including Guts.com.
In the beginning, Rizk was an online casino only, including a live casino section. Not long ago, however, they added a sportsbook. Focussing on their growth in just about all areas, Rizk is also expanding into more and more regions, which now include India.
Rizk is actually a really fun venture, coming with a quirky superhero theme that features Captain Rizk. For this and many other reasons, the casino is well-loved among fans and players here are especially taken with the Wheel of Rizk bonus feature. Since the sportsbook is a fairly recent addition, it has yet to develop its full potential. It is not yet the main draw for those interested in online betting in India, or elsewhere.

Safety and security
Licensed through the UKGC and the Malta Gaming Authority, Rizk inspires enough confidence that they are well-regulated as a casino and bookmaker. Whilst Rizk itself can be considered trustworthy and most of the MT SecureTrade Ltd casinos are safe, the operator did receive a fine from the UKGC in May 2019 for “weaknesses in its anti-money laundering and customer interaction controls”.
In our experience, operators tend to avoid being fined more than once by the UKGC as those fines are often six or seven figures.
Over at AskGamblers, Rizk has received many positive reviews and they enjoy overall a good rating. Whilst you can find very few outstanding complaints here, most issues seem to be resolved quickly, which is, in turn, good news for those encountering problems.
On Trustpilot, the reviews tend to be fairly balanced between positive and negative. That said, most negative reviews appear to be rather short and angry without much substance.
We consider Rizk to be a trustworthy online betting site, especially for casual players, and including players from India, of course.
Odds and betting selection
We’ve already pointed out that the sportsbook at Rizk is still relatively new and nowhere near as well established as the likes of Betway or bet365. Thus, you should not expect it to be as comprehensive as that of the competition. Rizk doesn’t offer bets on all sports just yet. Currently, they focus on football, tennis, and cricket, though they are also a pretty good address when it comes to eSports betting.
The entry site of the sportsbook focuses on football, tennis, and cricket, where you get an overview of what’s currently interesting as well as an option to see more. You have to click your way through the pages to find further sports and markets. That’s made easy thanks to intuitive navigation; however, it may still feel a little bit of a chore to have to keep searching.
Whilst casual punters and newbies should find a good selection of markets and events here as well as reasonably competitive odds, experienced punters may not be entirely satisfied. Live betting is available, of course, and it is also good to know that Asian markets are covered quite well at Rizk.

You enter the live chat by clicking on ‘Customer Care’ in the main menu on the left-hand side. A window will pop open and you have to complete some information before the chat is launched. The customer service team is usually helpful, engaging and friendly. Sometimes you may need to wait for a little when it happens to be busy. There’s always the option to write an email, of course. But it is not possible to call them.

Banking at Rizk
Despite the name of the casino, banking is not risky at Rizk casino. In fact, it is really quite easy. Go ahead and scroll down to ‘Payment Options’ at the bottom of the page and check out all available deposit and withdrawal options. There aren’t that many, mind you and nothing special for Indian customers.
Everyone will have to choose among the generally available methods such as credit cards, eWallets, and instant banking. Old-fashioned bank transfers are also available, mind you.
As we have already mentioned, it is possible to deposit and withdraw in Indian rupees, though the main currency of the site is Euro and that is also the currency on display most of the time.
One good piece of news is that Rizk doesn’t impose withdrawal limits. There are transaction limits depending on your chosen method, but that’s nothing unusual. You can make several withdrawals in a row if you like.
Of course, keep in mind that you have to go through the KYC (know your customer) process before making your first withdrawal. It saves you hassle down the line and gives you a little peace of mind once it is time to make your first withdrawal.
Design, software, and mobile gambling
Rizk uses thoroughly modern software. The main colors on the website are black and the highlights are mostly red and yellow. Navigation is intuitive and whilst there are times when you have to go digging a little, especially in the sportsbook, the site is generally quite user-friendly.
What irritated us a little is that the betting slip isn’t right there. Almost all sportsbooks we know have placed the betting slip somewhere on the right of the screen, but at Rizk, it’s not showing right away. The sportsbook could be a bit better organized on the whole.
Still, it’s a page that loads quickly and makes online betting and playing casino games quite fun. This is also the case when using the mobile page. Sometimes we prefer to play via mobile because the setup is a little tidier and more intuitive to use.

An excellent online casino that needs to keep working on their sportsbook
Rizk offers a lot of fun. Captain Rizk is at the forefront and ready to take players on an adventure. At the same time, he doesn’t take himself too seriously, which makes his character all the more charming.
As they say, no risk no fun and that’s the premise Rizk builds on as well. But they also pride themselves in being a ‘no bullshit’ casino, which means they generally treat their customers well.
Players from India will find this a good choice for many of their online betting needs, though kabaddi is missing, and Asian markets are not as well supported as elsewhere. However, Rizk is certainly a great choice for an online casino.
